Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Duleek GNS is looking to employ a bus escort to facilitate the transport of children with additional needs who require escorted bus service.
Salary Scale: hourly rate as determined by the Department of Education and Skills.
Duties will include:
*Escorting children safely to and from school.
*Liaising with parents and staff daily.
*Assisting children to board and alight safely from the bus.
*Ensuring that all children are seated with appropriate straps and harnesses where provided and ensuring that each pupil is received by the responsible person at the set down point.
The successful applicant will be required to be Garda Vetted prior to commencement of the post and complete relevant Children First Online Training.
Successful applicants will be required to work each day the school is open. 182 Days in the school year and also be available for 10 days July Provision each year.
Basic First Aid, Manual Handling training/experience is desirable.
