This fixed term post arises because of a career break for the duration of the 2022-2023 school year. The initial duties of this are those of a mainstream teaching post, but duties may be subject to change.
Our Lady’s Abbey is seeking professionals who are team players and willing to contribute to the overall development of a busy school. The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Experience of teaching in a similar sized school with multi grade classes
Experience in teaching Literacy Lift Off, Building Bridges, Team Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy
Knowledge and experience of teaching children with special educational needs
Skills or expertise in the teaching of Music, Sport and IT desirable, as well as candidates showing a desire to bring extra-curricular activities to the school and get involved in extra-curricular activities in the school.
Applicants must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education. It is desirable that candidates can demonstrate how they will contribute to the overall Catholic ethos of the school.
Copies of certificates, diplomas, and degrees to be provided by candidates invited to interview. Do not attach to your application.
