An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Please note Askeaton Senior N.S. will amalgamate with Askeaton Junior N.S. on the first day of the new school year and this post will be assigned to the new school Scoil Naomh Muire Eas Géitine.
Scoil Naomh Muire Eas Géitine is a vertical mainstream school with two ASD classes.

This post is for an ASD class.
Relevant QQI/ FETAC qualification is essential.
Applicants need to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
The role requires an energetic, enthusiastic person, who can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school.
Experience of and/or, training in working with children with A.S.D, O.T & EBD is desirable.
