Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School (HCETSS) opened in August 2020 in temporary accommodation on the site of the former Greyhound Racing Stadium, Harold’s Cross.

This is also the permanent location of the school which when built will ultimately accommodate 1000 students.

We are looking for a teacher of History, English and Learning Support.

Given the nature of a start-up school, it is envisaged that teachers would teach a range of subjects, help to develop a strong co-curricular and extra-curricular culture and that they would enjoy leading aspects of school development under the guidance and support of the Principal and Deputy Principal.

The successful candidate must be a team player who displays the HCETSS team attributes of humility, commitment and common sense and who is willing to collaborate closely with colleagues in creating an inclusive learning environment.

The school will also offer a coaching and mentoring programme to support our staff's continuous professional development as well as building leadership capacity within our school.

Students in the school use iPads and the integration of technology into learning and teaching will be an important element in the school's approach.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to establish and build a subject department(s) in a vibrant and growing school.
