An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The filling of this post is subject to the post not being required for the main panel redeployment process.
The post is mainstream/SET initially but may change at the determination of the principal.
St. Joseph's NS is a Catholic school. All teacher appointees must hold the appropriate Certificate entitling them to teach Catholic Religious Education.
St. Joseph's NS is seeking professionals who are team players and willing to contribute to the overall development of a busy school.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Probation
Experience of teaching in a similar sized co-educational school
Experience of teaching in a multi-grade setting
Knowledge and experience of teaching children with special educational needs.
Experience in teaching Aistear, Literacy Lift-Off, Talk Boost, Guided Reading, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy advantageous.
Interests/skills /experience in music/sport/I.T/STEM/extra-curricular activities are advantageous.
