Lakeview School is a school which caters for children age 5 to 18 with Mild General Learning needs and Multiple Disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorders, SEBD and ADHD. We believe that cooperation and team work are essential for an effective school and for the personal and educational development of our students. We are looking for SNAs who show interest in each of our students' educational and personal development. It is essential to have experience in a special educational setting preferably in a special school and that the successful candidate will have the necessary skills to work with pupils who have complex profiles. This appointment requires somebody who demonstrates flexibility, is a team player and has a calm disposition, who is confident in dealing with behaviours that challenge, is physically active, has supervision skills and shows initiative. Preference will be given to candidates who have proven experience in the management of physically strong students with challenging behaviour.
