The following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
- Previous teaching experience across all classes.
- Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development.
- Evidential experience of managing people (in any setting).
- Proven ability to work as a member of a team, excellent communication skills, experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school-based initiatives.
- Evidential experience and understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School.
- Previous experience in policy development.

Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: satisfactory references, current and continuing teaching council registration, current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
