The Board of Management of Esker Educate Together National School (located at The Glebe, Esker Lane, Dublin, Roll No: 20274C) invites applications for the permanent post of Deputy Principal. The post shall commence on Monday, 2nd November 2020.

The Deputy Principal will cooperate in partnership with the Principal to ensure the effective leadership and management of the school. The roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019.

The main duties of this role will fall under the four domains:

Domain One: Leading Teaching and Learning

Domain Two: Managing the Organisation

Domain Three Leading School Development

Domain Four: Developing Leadership Capacity

The roles and responsibilities of this post are subject to review and change according to procedures set out in Circular 0044/2019 and the responsibilities of the role may require a teacher to participate in the leadership role outside of the standard school day. The priority needs of the school were identified by consultation with the staff on 16th September 2020
