Scoil Éanna is a special school for pupils between 4 and 13 years old with Mild Intellectual Disabilities.
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills Guidelines.
It would be desirable for candidates to have FETAC Level 5 in SEN or similar. Other desirable qualifications include: CPI, First Aid, Lámh Module 1, emergency epilepsy medication training and manual handling training. Please include in your application the dates course were completed.
It would also be desirable for candidates to have worked in a Special School setting and have experience of working with pupils with EBD, ADHD and severe speech and language difficulties. It would also be an advantage for candidates to have good IT skills, a strong work ethic, be open to further training and be able to demonstrate their skills in in working as part of a team.
This position is with pupils of First Class age.
