New Quay NS is a Catholic school with two class teachers and a shared Learning Support based in another school. There is a pre-school and and after school on the premises.

Applicants for this position must have a certificate to teach R.E.

In addition, the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
Experience in the development and operation of innovative school based initiatives.
Previous teaching experience in multi-grade.
Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development.
Proven ability to work as a member of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven leadership skills.
An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school.
I.C.T. skills

Candidates called for interview will be requires to provide proof of qualifications and teaching council registration.

Appointment will be subject to but not limited to satisfactory references, current and continuing Teaching Council registration, current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
