Under the trusteeship of the Daughters of Charity and the Patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, St. Michael's Special School caters for pupils, ages 5 - 18 years, who on psychological testing are found to be functioning within the level of Mild General Learning Disability. Many of our pupils have a dual diagnosis, including ASD.
Please make application by email, completing the Standard Primary Teacher Application Form available under Resources, Primary Level on www.educationposts.ie accompanied by additional required documentation.
Post primary programmes taught, include the Junior Cycle Level 2 programme, Junior Cycle level 3 subjects and QQI level 3 modules. Knowledge of these programmes/ curricula desirable.
