Be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and able to demonstrate a genuine care for individual pupils
Be prepared to plan, develop, and teach programmes that cater for the needs of each individual child in their care
Be able to incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies
Be able to maintain open communications with parents and work colleagues in developing and maintaining a supportive and encouraging team environment
Keep abreast of educational developments
Keep accurate, updated, ongoing records and prepare reports
Have excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills
