Network Coordinator

The Sacred Heart Schools Network Board wishes to recruit:

Network Coordinator
Sacred Heart Schools, Ireland, Scotland and Malta

The Role:
The Network Coordinator role was established in 2007 to work with Sacred Heart schools, empowering hearts and minds by living the ethos of the Society of the Sacred Heart. Charged with supporting the ten network schools across the three countries to continue and advance the vision of the Society’s founder Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat.

The Network Coordinator, reporting to the Sacred Heart Schools Network Board is responsible for delivering in collaboration with the Network schools, Trusts and Schools’ Boards the strategic plan and in particular to:
• Develop school’s leadership in faith in keeping with the philosophy and ethos of the Society of the Sacred Heart.
• Advance the educational vision of Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat.
• Enable the sharing of best practice, resources and each school’s expression of the Sacred Heart education ethos, through the Sacred Heart Goals.
• Listen, learn from and share ‘in spirit’ with the international networks of Sacred Heart schools.
• Provide excellent administration and governance on behalf of the Network Board.

Required experience and education:
• Experience of working at a senior level in a faith-based education environment.
• Enthusiasm for faith-based education, which is demonstrated by a track record in facilitating, promoting and managing the activities and experiences that underpin faith and ethos in the educational environment.
• A collaborative working style that brings the best ethos practices and synergies to the fore from the Network Trusts, Boards and Schools.
• Capacity for commissioning interesting up to date resources to support the Sacred Heart Faith Goals and sharing each school’s successes and resources.
• Strong communicator / influencer with social media skills.
This is a senior part-time role that supports flexible working arrangements.
