Applicants who are deemed to be members of the Supplementary Panel must furnish a certified copy of completed Panel Form 1 (PF1) with their application.

Appointment will be subject to Garda Vetting and occupational health screening. The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review. Canvassing will disqualify.

This appointment requires somebody who demonstrates flexibility, is a team player, shows good communication skills, has a calm disposition, is confident in dealing with behaviours that challenge, has supervision skills and shows initiative.

Essential requirements:
-Minimum qualifications as per DES Circular 0051/2019
-other relevant qualifications in the area of special needs education
-experience working with children who have complex and challenging profiles
-experience working with children on the ASD spectrum

The following requirements are desirable:
-experience managing intimate care
-up to date training in Manual Handling and First Aid
