As Scoil Phádraig Naofa is a Catholic school, applicants for this position must have a Certificate to teach R.E.
In addition, the following skills experience and knowledge are desirable:
Previous teaching experience across all classes in a school; Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development;
Evidential experience of managing people (in any setting); Proven ability to work as a member of a team;
Excellent communication skills; Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload;
Proven Leadership Skills;
Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school-based initiatives;
An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School; Previous experience in policy development.

Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and teaching council registration.

Envelopes should be clearly marked 'Principal Teacher Application' and addressed to the Chairperson of the Board of Management. Please include 3 copies and the original of the application form with your application.
