St Joseph’s Special School is designated by the Department of Education and Skills as a special school for children aged 5-18 years of age assessed as having a Mild General Learning Disability.
This post is to teach Home Economics – cookery and theory – to students aged 12-18 years of age on two days a week – Mondays and Tuesdays. Students are completing school programmes and also learning outcomes from Level 2 Learning Programmes.

Some of our students have additional special needs such as ASD, ADHD and Down Syndrome - some of our students may exhibit challenging behaviour.
