Education Assistant - Glasnevin Cemetery Museum
Description:
Glasnevin Trust Museum is currently recruiting for the role of Education Assistant. This is a part - time role 5 days per week Monday - Friday (20 hours) on a six month contract. January 2020 - June 2020
The core duties are to assist the Education Department prepare for and deliver their schools education programme. They will assist with the bookings of the events and on the day tour guiding and workshops. The successful candidate will liaise with teachers to co-ordinate the schools visits and following on to evaluate the programme reporting on the visit.
They will perform other administration duties in relation to the education report as directed by the Education department and liaise with other staff members to ensure that each visit is communicated to the members of the broader Trust.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with school students and ideally a degree in History.
They will have excellent communication skills and are available to work from January 2020 to June 2020.
Irish language competency is an advantage
