Recruitment of Visiting Teachers for the NCSE

The National Council for Special Education (NCSE) seeks applications from suitably qualified teachers to work as a visiting teacher for children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing or as a visiting teacher for children who are Blind / Visually impaired. The appointments are on a fixed-term (temporary) basis, until the end of the current school year.

The posts may be filled by secondment. Please note the interview time frames at the end of this notice.

The NCSE currently has vacancies for a Visiting Teacher for Children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing in Cork City and County in South West Team 1. While there is also a vacancy for a Visiting Teacher for Children who are Blind/Visually Impaired in the Donegal area in North Team 1.

Closing date for receipt of applications is 12.00 pm (midday) on Friday 22nd November 2019.
