GETNS is a vibrant school with a dedicated staff and an active supportive parents' association. There are 18 Mainstream classes and 2 Special classes.
Applicants must be fully registered under Regulation 2 (Primary) with the Teaching Council and have 5 years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised primary school within the Republic of Ireland. Appointments will be subject to current Garda vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
In addition, the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable: evidence of continuing and relevant professional development; proven ability to work as a member of a team; excellent communication skills; experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload; leadership skills; experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school based initiatives; an understanding of and commitment to the ethos and values of an Educate Together school and experience in policy development.
