St. Colmcille's Errill is a Catholic Primary School under the patronage of the Bishop of Ossory. There are currently 3 mainstream teachers and 1 support teacher, led by a Teaching Principal.

As a Catholic School St. Colmcille's, requests that applicants for this position have a Certificate to teach Religion. In addition, the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable: evidence of continuing and relevant professional development; evidence of experience of managing people; proven ability to work as a member of a team; excellent communication skills; experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload; proven leadership skills; experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school based initiatives; an understanding of and commitment to the ethos, values and culture of a Catholic school and experience in policy development.
Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and Teaching Council registration.
