School Visit Ambassador

Focus Ireland is seeking volunteer School Visit Ambassadors to deliver engaging and educational secondary school visits locally (2 visits a week at most). These talks aim to help develop students’ understanding of homelessness and also to break down any stereotypes they may have about people who are homeless.While doing this, volunteers will encourage students to participate in community fundraising and get involved in campaigns that Focus Ireland is running. School talks take place across the country at schools local to the volunteers. We are particularly looking for volunteers to cover the areas of Sligo, Offaly/Laois, Louth/Meath and Wexford/Waterford.
