An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Following an increase of 1 SNA position from NCSE Allocation, we are interviewing for two 0.5 SNA posts, as stipulated by the SENO (i.e. two part-time posts, 16 hours each).

Candidates with knowledge of working with children with Special Educational Needs, including SLD / DCD / SSLD/ ODD / ADHD / Complex Needs / Intimate Care Needs / ASD Autism and Behaviours which Challenge, and an understanding of positive behaviour support strategies are desirable. Appointments will be subject to current vetting requirements, satisfactory referees and Occupational Health Screening.
