Special Needs Assistants – (Career break and Fixed term cover commencing September 2019) required by Scoil Aislinn, Boreenmanna Road, Cork, Roll Number 20331L. This is a 6 teacher co- educational specialist primary school, under the patronage of Cope Foundation, Bonnington, Montenotte, Cork. Scoil Aislinn is committed to providing a quality education for pupils with autism and high complex needs offering a range of child-centered autism specific education which draws on a range of evidence based interventions. The qualifications and conditions of service for this post are as specified by the Department of Education & Science. Candidates must have experience of working as an SNA in a classroom setting with students with Autism and Complex needs. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, work well as part of a team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. Duties include working with students of all ages, assisting students in the swimming pool and supporting students with challenging behaviours.
