St. Declan's Special School (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) is a school that follows the full primary curriculum for children who need time-out from mainstream primary schools for a period of up to two to three years. The teaching of Irish is a requirement in this special school. We follow the full primary school curriculum supporting children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties. Pupil/teacher ratio of up to 8:1. All staff are MAPA trained (Managing Actual and Potential
