At An Cosan our mission is to empower through education – we do that by providing people of all ages with pathways to learning, leadership and enterprise. An Cosán offers a variety of programmes in early years education and care, parenting, community, further and higher education. Our Virtual Community College also now brings our ethos beyond Jobstown to locations across the country.
Fledglings Early Years Education and Care is an early years organisation who provides early childhood education to children from 6 months to five years in various settings across Dublin and Rainbow House is the in-house early education and care centre in An Cosan situated in Jobstown, Tallaght. At present Fledglings have 6 services within the areas of Tallaght, Cabra and Whitehall.
Fledglings uses an evidenced-based curriculum approach in all our services, called HighScope. As an Early Years Educator you will be joining a network of professionals working together to deliver high quality early education all over Dublin.
We view the role of Early Years Educator as crucial to ensuring high quality education for young children. Supportive relationships are the cornerstone of our practice. Adults working in Fledglings and Rainbow House are expected to demonstrate sensitivity, warmth and positive regard for all children and their families. We work as a team with our colleagues, and in partnership with parents fostering relationships built on mutual respect and understanding.
As an Early Years Educator your responsibilities will include:
• To implement the curriculum, policies and procedures as documented in the Fledglings Early Years Education and Care policies and procedures folder (which will incorporate the relevant HSE Pre-School Regulations).
