Enquiring Minds have positions available in our Johnstown, Hewetson and Prosperous branches.
Full and part time Childcare positions available.
SNA (FETAC Level 5 in childcare) 3 hours morning position (20 hours).
Willingness to work with children from babies to aftercare.
Perform tasks including nappy changing, toileting, feeding, napping and general cleaning.
Set up the environment with high interest activities that naturally engage the children.
Support the child’s emotional, social, physical and cognitive development.
Conduct observations.
Be aware of child protection policies.
Follow policies and procedures of Enquiring Minds.
Attend meetings and undergo training.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Ensure a good standard of hygiene, maintain a room and equipment.
Clean, tidy and sort equipment.
Perform other reasonable and relevant duties.
Time management.
Occupational First Aid and Garda vetting required.
Rate dependent on qualification and experience, additional perks including staff lunches, development training and reduced school fees.
Non contact time provided.
Minimum of FETAC level 5 in childcare
Ability to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Most importantly a love for teaching!
