POST DETAILS
Title:
Primary Teacher
Description:
PRIMARY TEACHER, NORD ANGLIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL DUBLIN
About the school:
Nord Anglia Education is the world’s leading premium schools organisation. We are a fast-paced and growing family of 47 international schools in China, Europe and Middle East, South East Asia and The Americas, providing outstanding education to over 45,000 students from preschool through to the end of secondary education. Our schools are united by one philosophy — we are ambitious for our students, our people and family of schools. This means that we want every student to achieve more than may have ever thought possible, which we ensure through personalised learning enhanced with unique global opportunities.
Opening in September 2018, our new international school in Dublin will be the first of its kind in the city and will educate 800 students aged 3 to 18 years old. Located in the highly regarded suburb of Leopardstown, our state of the art campus will feature extensive specialist STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) and performing arts facilities to provide outstanding learning experiences and teaching of 21st Century skills and support the exclusive delivery of Nord Anglia Education’s collaborations with The Juilliard School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Students and staff will also be part of Nord Anglia’s worldwide community, connected through our innovative Global Campus and Nord Anglia University initiatives.
What we are looking for:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join this challenging adventure as one of the first members of the team.
Applications are invited from an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced teacher. As a qualified teacher you will be a fluent English speaker, familiar with curriculum developments of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and confident working with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. You will be an excellent communicator and confident with technology; someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents. Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life as well as the classroom.
Application Process
We welcome applications from those that are passionate about education and have the skills and experience to make a significant impact.
For further information and to submit an application online for this prestigious role include a comprehensive CV, the name of two referees and a covering letter.
In the event of an overwhelming number of candidates, Nord Anglia Education reserves the right to enhance the criteria outlined in the job description for this post in any way it wishes.
