European School Varese - Italy

A) For the academic year 2018-2019 the primary cycle of the European School of Varese is seeking dynamic, qualified and experienced teachers for the following posts:

Class teacher in the Anglophone section

The post is a locally recruited position (please see the Terms and Conditions of employment locating the “Service Regulations for the Locally Recruited Teachers in the European Schools at www.eursc.eu ) and is available full-time.

Applicants should:
-be fully qualified, possessing a PGCE or equivalent (QTS)
-be native speakers
-have at least two years’ experience teaching in Key Stage 1/or 2 in delivering the UK, Irish, Scottish or IB curriculum
-Have experience teaching pupils with SEN

B) For the academic year 2018 – 2019 the secondary cycle of the European School of Varese is seeking a dynamic, well-qualified and experienced

Teacher of English L2 – L3 in the Anglophone section

Applicants should:
preferably be native speakers, or master the English language at a near-native level (C2)
be fully qualified teachers for teaching English L2 and L3
possess a PGCE or equivalent (QTS) and (I)GCSE for teaching English as a second or third language
ideally have at least three years’ experience of teaching in all levels of secondary, in delivering the IB Diploma or A-level
The post is a locally recruited position (statute available on www.eursc.eu) and is available for 20 periods (full-time is 21 periods).
