Applications are invited for the position of
1 Project Worker
The School Completion Programme is a Department of Education and Science Initiative with an emphasis on a locally based interagency response to early school leaving.
The position will involve the implementation of the Programme Plan in accordance with the Management Committee under the guidance of the Programme Co-ordinator. The Project worker duties will include the provision of in-school, after school, out of school activities, and holiday time programmes.
The successful candidate will have:
A degree/equivalent in education, social studies or related fields.
Experience of working with young people.
Have an understanding of social and educational disadvantage and the needs of those who are at risk of early school leaving.
Candidates may be short listed on the basis of information supplied in their C. V.
