An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Kolbe Special School is a special school under the patronage of the Muiríosa Foundation for students from 4 - 18 years with a severe and profound learning disability.
We are looking for teachers who are willing to work collaboratively as part of a team under the guidance of school management. The school team is made up of teachers, SNAs, nurses and a CDNT team consisting of psychologist, speech and language therapist and occupational therapist. The school is also supported by the NCSE in school therapy programme.
Kolbe Special School is a Droichead School. We also offer our students Junior Cycle Level 1 (JC L1LP) and Senior Cycle Level 1.
