The Board of Management invites applications for the position of School Transport Escort for a specific route servicing students attending Presentation Primary School, Terenure.
The bus escort must be available in the mornings and afternoons five days per week to accompany and support pupils with Autism in a bus to and from the school.
The position is for 20 hours weekly. 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.
The hourly rate of pay is in line with the Department of Education guidelines for school bus escorts.
Key Responsibilities include:
-Escorting the pupils safely to and from school.
-Assist students boarding and exiting the vehicle safely. Ensuring that the pupils are received by the responsible adult at each set down point
-Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, school staff, and the transport driver.
