The Board of Management wishes to invite expressions of interest in a permanent vacancy, with initial duties in an our early intervention pre-school special class for autism from teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Meath . An expression of interest should be forwarded to the Chairperson of the Board of Management at the following address applications@stmarysmullingar.ie by 3 p.m on the 11th day of October 2026 being 5 calendar days from the date of this advertisement. Please place Supplementary Panel application in the subject bar.
St. Marys Primary School is a DEIS band 2 school and so experience working in a disadvantaged area is also desirable. There are three special classes for autistic children in our school.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, Garda Vetting & OHS screening and sanction of DEF.
All applications must include Certificate to teach Religious Studies and up to date Tusla Children First . Applications to be received by email only to

An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
