POST DETAILS
Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The position is a 0.25 post (8 Hours). The successful candidate will be required to carry out the hours over two days.
Requirements:
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per DES guidelines. An additional qualification in additional/special needs care and/or education is advantageous. Childcare and/or relevant qualifications or courses (e.g. First Aid, Supporting children with ASD etc.) would be advantageous.
The candidate must display a strong work ethic, flexibility and the initiative to work independently and as part of a team. High levels of communication, along with a willingness to engage in further training is extremely important.
Appointments will be subject to current vetting requirements and occupational health screening. Please include a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) if applicable.
