An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St John of God School provides education to pupils with moderate, severe and profound general learning disabilities aged 4-18 years. Four classes provide education for pupils with Autism and moderate general learning disabilities.
The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate a willingness to engage in further relevant professional development and respect the ethos of the school. Ideally applicants will have experience working across a range of special educational needs. Experience and training in Lámh, Positive Behaviour Support, TEACCH and visual communiaction is beneficial.
Shortlisting of candidates may take place.
There is one maternity leave vacancy starting immediately.
