An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Special Needs Assistant – 0.5 Standard SNA Post
Applications are invited for a 0.5 Standard Special Needs Assistant (SNA) Post.
Interested parties should note that this is a part-time post (0.5 of full-time hours and full-time salary). This equates to 16 hours per week.
A proven ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential, with a focus at all times on the safety, welfare and care of pupils.
Experience of working with children with ASD, OT needs and emotional/behavioural difficulties is desirable.
Candidates must be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. The successful candidate will be expected to respect confidentiality at all times.
Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, compliance with current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review each year.
