An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Additional Information:
Murroe N.S. is seeking to appoint a team player with initiative who is willing to contribute to the overall development of Murroe N.S.
The post is a special education teacher post initially and is subject to change at the determination of the Principal.
This is a fixed-term position available for the 2026/27 school year.

The following knowledge and experience are desirable:
- Special education
- Multi-grade setting
- Teaching children with a range of additional needs
- Team-teaching and in-class support
- Collaborating with all members of the school community
- Leading whole school initiatives
- A demonstrated commitment to CPD

Murroe N.S. is a Catholic School and the successful applicant must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.

Three copies of the application form should be submitted by post. Please include a copy of your Teaching Council Registration Certificate with the application.

Applications close at 3pm on the final date of the advertisement.

Applications should be clearly marked 'Application for Fixed-Term Teaching Post' on the outside of the envelope.

Non-compliance with terms of the advertisement will automatically disqualify candidates.

Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council Registration, current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
