An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is an above SERC SNA position and is subject to review by SENOs from the NCSE. Clonegal N.S. is a mainstream school with special classes for autistic children. Experience of working in a Primary School in Special Classes for autistic children is desirable. A strong understanding of inclusive practice, teamwork, supporting positive behaviour and an interest in Continuous Professional Development is desirable. For example, the successful candidate may hold or have a desire to complete the course in Inclusive Support and Care in Education for Special Needs Assistants - currently run by Atlantic Technological University.
It is a requirement if successful to produce the Statutory declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position.
