St. Michael's House Grosvenor School, Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18 is a Special School for pupils aged four to eighteen years with a Moderate General Learning Disability (8 students per class), some of whom are on the Autistic Spectrum, 6 students per class. ( We also have classes for pupils with a severe Learning Disability).
All qualified primary teachers are eligible to work in this school. Post-primary teachers are also eligible to apply for this post. Applicants must be registered with the Teaching Council. An additional qualification in Special Education is advantageous. Experience of working in a special education setting and dedication to helping students with special educational needs to achieve their potential is important.
