An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We have 5 vacancies advertised.

We have 2 fixed term positions, which are specified purpose contracts for 1 year.

We currently have 3 maternity leaves, beginning on 28/08/26 running to mid March. 2 of these will be extended to end of June 27 by parental/parent's leave, etc. The third is also likely to be extended the full year.

3 of the posts are in mainstream and 2 in SET. We are a Droichead School with a very supportive PST and it will be possible to complete the process in 3 of the 5 advertised posts.

It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position upon offer of employment.
