An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applications are invited for the position of Substitute Special Needs Assistant (SNA) (Maternity Leave).
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
* Relevant experience working as a Special Needs Assistant, supporting children who have additional needs.
*The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy, mainstream, multi-grade school setting.
* A responsive and sensitive approach to the evolving care and support needs of pupils.
* A willingness to engage in continued professional development (CPD) and ongoing upskilling.
* Flexibility, kindness, and professionalism in all aspects of their role.
* A positive and collaborative approach, contributing to the inclusive ethos and day-to-day life of the school.
