An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) to join our team who is committed to supporting the inclusion, wellbeing and holistic development of children.
Experience of early childhood education is desired.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with additional educational needs and special educational needs. Experience in Autism Classes is preferable but not essential. SNAs in our school work in mainstream classrooms and/or Autism Classes.
A QQI Level 6 Special Needs Assistant qualification is desirable, and the successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to undertaking further relevant professional development and training.
The successful applicant must be professional, trustworthy, kind and passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where every pupil can thrive. Good teamwork skills are essential.
