An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of St Michael's Special School wishes to invite applications for the following vacancies:
-1 permanent vacancy.
-One year fixed term post to cover a job share position.
-One year fixed term position to cover an exceptional teaching allocation.
St Michael's School caters for pupils aged 4 to 18 years with a moderate or severe/profound general learning disability and/or Autism. Experience of working in a special school and knowledge and experience in behaviour management strategies and ASD are desirable. The ability to collaborate and work as part of a team is essential.

Appointments will be subject to Garda Vetting requirements, reference checks and Occupational Health Screening.
