An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The successful candidate may be assigned to a mainstream class, autism class or SET post. The final decision on assignment will be determined in line with the needs of the school. Initial duties may be subject to change as required by the school.
Previous experience and interest in an autism class/SET is preferable but not essential.
