Role Description
-To accompany pupils on transport to and from their home to Murhur NS each day.
- Part time position working mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday, on school days only.
- Ensure pupil safety and wellbeing while on board including:
- Assisting children getting on and off bus/ taxi and ensuring safe handover to SNA/teacher/parent/guardian
- Securing seat belts and any other safety equipment
- Supporting care needs as required
- Liaising with the bus driver, parents and school personnel as required.
Requirements
-Relevant experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Suitable references are essential.
Additional Information
-We are also establishing a panel of substitute escorts to cover ad hoc absences.
Any appointment will be subject to Garda vetting by the school.
