Additional Information:
Holy Family Junior School is seeking to appoint a bus escort to accompany pupils with Special Needs on bus transport from their homes to and from school. The escort is responsible for the safety of the pupils on board the bus/taxi and will be required to assist them getting on and off the bus and securing appropriate seat belts.
Good communication skills and experience of caring for/working with children with additional needs is desirable. Candidates will be expected to collaborate with parents and school staff in a professional way, and will need to communicate regarding pick ups/drop offs, illnesses, traffic delays etc.
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting. This position is for approximately 10 hours per week (TBC) in line with the school calendar.
Letter of Application and CV, including contact details of at least 2 referees, should be sent by email only to applications1@hfjs.ie before 5pm on Wednesday the 29th July 2026.
