An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This fixed term position is initially in a Special Education teacher role for the school year 2026/ 2027, but this may be subject to change. Previous experience in a Special Education Teaching position is desirable. Scoil Lios Teilic wishes to appoint a teacher who is willing to contribute to life, ethos and development of the school. To be eligible for appointment a Certificate to Teach Religious Education must be enclosed with the application. This is a Catholic School, with a strong Catholic Ethos.
Appointment will be subject to, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current and continuing Teaching Council Registration, current vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
