This post is in a class for children with ASD and an Intellectual Disability between the mild to moderate range for pupils aged 4 to 12 years old.
Candidates must have experience of working in an ASD specific class of pupils with highly complex needs and challenging behaviours. Practical experience in the promotion of positive behaviour strategies is desirable. Experience and knowledge of pedagogy and practice associated with an ASD class is highly desirable. Experience in the use of LAMH and the TEACCH approach would be preferable but not essential in this special school setting.
PLEASE NOTE INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD ON THE 7TH OF SEPTEMBER
