An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Brigid’s N.S. is the base school for this Supply Panel which provides substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave. Supply Panel Teachers are appointed on a one year fixed-term contract.
It is a great opportunity to gain valuable, short-term experience in a variety of class and school settings: mainstream classes, ASD special class, junior and senior schools, DEIS and non-DEIS.
The majority of schools in the cluster are Catholic schools so for this post you must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education.
Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per Circular 0009/2015.
