An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Monaleen NS is seeking to appoint a diligent, enthusiastic and innovative teacher who is willing to get involved in our whole school community and contribute to the overall development of the school. Previous experience as a mainstream class teacher is desirable, willingness and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team would be advantageous.
The standard requirements regarding Garda Vetting and Occupational Health Screening will apply. Applicants for this post must have a certificate to teach Religious Education.
Please note, we have three fixed-term, year long positions and two shorter contracts covering maternity leave. One of our three year long positions will be in our autism class and previous experience in this setting is highly desirable.
