Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Holy Family is a designated special school for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children. There is no requirement for candidates to have qualifications in Deaf Education or Irish Sign Language ISL but an interest in working with Deaf children, and experience in teaching children with additional need, including ASD, is highly desirable. Support and training in deaf education and Irish Sign Language ISL will be given to the successful candidates. There are five teaching posts available including placement in the Early Intervention class. Interviews are scheduled for the end of July/early August.
It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position upon offer of employment.
